Women complain more about work than men do because women in general are not made for a 9-5 job but men are.
Men are like the Sun, they have a 24hr cycle. Hustling and providing (especially if they have a family) give them purpose.
Women on the other hand are like the Moon. We are not always full. There are times we want to slow things down. Most of all, for those who are mothers there is a reason why there is a mom guilt because it is our natural instinct to nurture our children. That means being present for them. For fathers their nurturing is through providing and protecting.
I am grateful for the first wave of feminism that allowed women to have a choice outside of the home. However the way the economy is designed now, most households need two income. It disadvantages the women so much because of our soft feminine nature.
As for me, I loved my job in the Office of the President, but I love my situation now even better. As a housewife, I don’t have to wake up early and commute and report to a boss. I cook for my husband and I make our home a beautiful place which I enjoy so much. It is truly a privilege so I will enjoy it now while I can.
